On thursday, 6 June, Dr. Sabine Hielscher will join us and talk about “Repara/kul/tur – Makerspaces, Eco-Villages and Citizen Science”. Sabine Hielscher is interested in the politics, processes and materializations of grassroots innovations and the dynamics of everyday (sustainable) consumption patterns, particularly the relationship between people and technologies. She will talk about civic initiatives and activities, and discuss how they can be inquired. Besides that she will talk about governance through narratives of smart technologies. The talk is going to be in English.
